Luxembourg Favourite For Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes

The Aidan O’Brien trained Luxembourg is the red hot favourite to land the Futurity Trophy Stakes at Doncaster on Saturday.

This 2-year-old son of Camelot has already been backed into 4/5 favourite from 10/11

…having impressed at The Curragh last month by winning the Group Two Beresford Stakes by 4 ¾ lengths to Manu Et Corde justifying his short odds of 8/13 under Seamie Heffernan.

Now this exciting prospect is the red-hot favourite to win his first Group One at Doncaster and is already the ante post favourite for the 2022 Epsom Derby. His odds were chalked up at 20/1 but following his Beresford Stakes win, his odds were hammered into 15/2.

Should he win the Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes then his odds are likely to shorten even further for the big one next year.
