Man City vs Tottenham Betting Tips, Odds & Price Boosts | Saturday 19th February

Man City are in red-hot form going into Saturday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham with a huge number of betting markets available.

Pep Guardiola’s side are like a freight train right now moving everything out of their tracks, not just in the Premier League but also in the Champions League with a 5-0 drubbing of Sporting Lisbon away from home on Tuesday.

Should Spurs be worried? Absolutely. They’re out of sorts right now and on the verge of scuppering their chances of qualifying for Europe next season with back-to-back defeats following a number of games in hand.

We’re all well aware of Guardiola’s rotation and he’s set to have a number of options at home this Saturday, but the front three of Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and perhaps Riyad Mahrez are the most likely contenders in attack.

The latter two lead the way in the First Goalscorer betting, while Foden – who’s been playing a False 9 position for the last few weeks and scored in Lisbon – is available at 11/2.

Kevin De Bruyne seems to be in full flow after battling back from COVID-19 this season and could be on penalty duty, with a First Goalscorer price of 5/1 on the table, while Bernardo Silva and Rodri should make up the midfield in a 4-3-3 formation.

But you just can’t rule out Tottenham, especially when you see Harry Kane and Son-Heung min priced at 10/1 each for the first goal, while Lucas Moura is a whopping 22/1. Those three are the likely trio for Antonio Conte’s attack come 5.30pm.

Southampton proved a few weeks ago the first goal of the game can be achieved against the Citizens, and that was a defender in Kyle Walker-Peters.

Who doesn’t like a Price Boost? Well, BoyleSports have four readily available and one in particular could be one to jump on right now. Man City to score 2 or more goals in the first period is now 5/2 – and with the way they’ve playing, it could be a gamble you’re willing to take quite easily.

Four were hit past Sporting in the first half a few days ago, while in total they’ve scored 15 goals in the last four games in all competitions since that 1-1 draw at Southampton.

Against Spurs, they have scored the first goal in their last seven encounters at the Etihad, while also outscoring their opponents in both halves in each of their last four.

Furthermore, Guardiola’s side have also scored before half-time in their last four. Both teams to score in the first half is also available at 4/1 if you think Spurs could prove tougher than they’ve shown in their last two games. The Londoners to score in both halves, however, is a 17/2 shout.

Basically, Spurs really need to show up because they’ll be stream-rolled if they don’t. City just have to keep on winning to keep second-placed Liverpool at bay – especially as the Reds look a home banker against Norwich at 3pm.

Below shows the top half of the Premier League right now with the form guide for both sides as the race for the title and Europe hots up.
