Martin O’Neill Favourite To Replace Hughes At Stoke City

Martin O’Neill has already been tipped as a replacement for Mark Hughes, who was sacked as Stoke City manager following the side’s humiliating 2-1 defeat to League Two side Coventry which saw them go out of the FA Cup third round.

The Republic of Ireland boss is the early frontrunner for the job and has already seen his odds cut from 7/4 to his current 11/8.

Derby County manager Gary Rowett has also been linked to the vacancy at The Potters and is the 3/1 second favourite to snap up the position.

Ryan Giggs is also in the running at 11/2 with Northern Ireland gaffer Michael O’Neill also priced at 11/2.

Martin O’Neill has already seen support from punters, who have backed him into 11/8 from 7/4 favouritism, to take over Stoke City from Mark Hughes. It will be a tough task, as the side have suffered 8 defeats in their last 11 games and are currently in the relegation zone in the Premier League.

Another name in the mix to take over at The Potters is Gary Rowett who is the 3/1 second favourite

with fans online expressing their desire to have him lead the club.
