Frosty Welcome For Hancock

The former Health Secretary has received a frosty welcome from campmates and was quizzed on his record in government by news presenter Charlene White, but his chances of a lengthy stay in the jungle have increased according to the betting as an emotional Hancock asked for forgiveness for breaking social distancing guidelines during the pandemic.

He had been a 33/1 outsider to be crowned King of the Jungle before landing Down Under, but is now just 6/1 with BoyleSports, making him the third most likely winner of the 11 contestants.

Mike Tindall started the series as favourite and remains in the hunt at 7/2, but Jill Scott is the new frontrunner to be the last campmate standing after she was backed down to 6/5 from 4/1 to win.
