Alice And Victoria Early Favourites for Royal Baby No. 3

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced they are expecting their third child and there are two names that have already shot to the head of the betting for the newest arrival to the Royal Family to be called.

We’ve made it 10/11 that the newest royal baby will be a boy or a girl, however the name betting suggests George and Charlotte will have a little sister.

Alice and Victoria are joint favourites at 8/1 apiece to be the chosen name for Will and Kate’s little bundle of joy.

Alice has a history in the British Royal family with Queen Victoria’s second daughter having the name.

Victoria may be chosen in homage to the long reigning Queen Victoria, who lead the monarchy from 1837 to 1876.

Next in the betting is Mary, Arthur and Alexandra all at 10/1 followed by Philip, after Prince Philip the Royal Baby’s grandfather, priced at 12/1.

The Duke and Duchess to pay homage to William’s late mother Diana by naming their third child after her is priced at 14/1. Also priced at 14/1 is Elizabeth, after the Queen and baby’s grandmother.
