Ben Hart’s BGT Odds Shorten After Stunning Magic Act

Semi-final number four of Britain’s Got Talent took place on Thursday evening with magician Ben Hart performing a mind-blowing magical act with the judges that left everyone in awe.

We have cut Ben into 6/1 from 20/1 following his semi-final win that saw him making cards and matchsticks vanish into thin air before they reappeared in unexpected places. The magician’s act resulted in the 28-year old receiving the most public votes to earn his spot in Sunday’s final.

Colin Thackery became the new 6/4 favourite of Britain’s Got Talent on Wednesday night after he won his semi-final when he moved the public with a rendition of Vera Lynn’s ‘We’ll Meet Again” in memory of his late wife Joan.

Colin served in the Royal Artillery for 25 years and went to war in Korea just two weeks after marrying the love of his life.

Colin has tightened his grip on favouritism in which he took from Flakefleet Primary School Choir and has been cut again into 4/5 from 6/4. The 89-year old singer is the oldest contestant in this talent competition and remains a popular favourite with the public.

FlakeFleet have drifted even further from 10/1 out to 16/1 but were the 11/4 favourites just days ago.

Another singer made it through to the final on Thursday’s show after Mark McMullan was put through by a public vote after a deadlock on the judging panel. The musical wonder was the 10/11 favourite in the ‘Public Vote’ market resulting in us having to pay out following the results.

The 23-year old from Newcastle made a huge impact in his audition when he performed a touching tribute for his disabled brother with his rendition of ‘Bring Him Home’ from Les Miserables, but we have pushed Mark out to 20/1 from 12/1.
