Charming Clark Carmody Is Ora Right

The second blind auditions of the Voice UK saw Ricky Wilson fill up half his team already! Ricky may be turning for nearly every singer that takes to the stage, but it is paying off as Stevie McCrorie remains the one to beat at 10/3.

Rita added just one new member to her team, but it could be a very valuable member indeed. Clark Carmody was the last up on the show and Rita wasn’t hanging about, turning in a matter of seconds for the hair stylist, who went straight into the betting as the 9/1 second favourite.

Jake Shakeshaft was the second contestant to join team Will and is on offer at 16/1 to win after impressing with his take on Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’. Sasha Simone joins Howard Rose (10/1) on team Tom after a nervous and emotional audition but at 18/1 there could be a lot more to come from the bricklayer.

Shellyann’s granny may have sung with Tom Jones but it was Ricky who turned and took her under her wing, at 25/1 however she may struggle. Finishing off team Ricky are mirror twins Classical Reflection, the first duo through, and crisp factory worker Jade Hewitt who are both 33/1 shots.

Clark Carmody was most definitely the most impressive act of the night and like favourite Stevie McCrorie closed the show. It seems going last puts you at an advantage as Clark is the 9/1 second favourite.

Ricky has half of his team already and although some of his team are at the lower end of the betting you only need one, which looks to be Stevie McCrorie as he continues to receive support and is now the 10/3 favourite form 7/2.
