Chris Evans On Top To Switch Gear

With Jeremy Clarkson’s Top Gear faith hanging in the balance, we’ve made Chris Evans the 6/4 favourite to be the next permanent presenter of the hit TV show.

It looks like Clarkson won’t be returning to our TV screens as the host of Top Gear and it’s the fiery red head, Chris Evans, that our traders have installed as the 6/4 favourite to fill Clarkson’s shoes.

Hot on his heels is 36 year old model, Jodie Kidd, with Stephen Fry next in the betting at 6/1. We are very keen to keep Jodie Kidd on our side as the model previously held the record for the fastest time in the feature Star In A Reasonably Priced Car on the TV show, and having only priced up the market on Wednesday morning, the beautiful blonde is now 4/1 from 5/1.

Steve Coogan is 7/1 to land the role whilst it’s 8/1 that former Formula One driver, Eddie Irvine, can drive himself into Clarkson’s boots.

Eddie Jordan is priced at 12/1 with Piers Morgan currently a 25/1 shot. Retired race driver Nigel Mansell can be backed at 40/1 with singer James Blunt currently 33/1 to fly High into the role.
