Cody Frost Joint Favourite With Kevin Simm After Voice Battle

The first round of Voice UK battles was a dramatic affair with a shocking total of six steals across the twelve battles.

Cody Frost has put the pressure on previous favourite Kevin Simm as the pair are now joint favourites to win. Cody won her battle with Heather Cameron-Hayes (28/1), who was stolen by Paloma, and was quickly cut from 4/1 to her current 7/2 price. Also winning their battles on Team George were Laura Begley (33/1) and Harry Fisher (9/1).

All three of Paloma’s discarded hopefuls were stolen, but it was Dwaine Hayden who stood apart from the rest and is the biggest mover from the first battles having been cut into 33/1 from 16/1. Aliesha Lobuczek lost out to Dwaine, but joined Team Ricky after being stolen and is priced at 20/1 to win.

Rick Snowdon won his battle with Bradley Waterman and shortened into 12/1 from 16/1. Bradley was stolen by Boy George and it looks like it could pay off as he was cut into 16/1 from 20/1. Jordan Grey returned only to be victorious in her battle over Theo Llewellyn (16/1), who joined Team Will, and is on offer at 28/1.

The successful hopefuls from Team Will were Lydia Lucy, who remains a strong contender to win at 8/1, Faheem (20/1) and Charley Blue (25/1). Aaron Hill lost out to Faheem, but Palmoa hit her button for him and he swapped teams, however at 33/1 he may not be the addition she was hoping for.

Team Ricky’s Brooklyne Richards (25/1), Chloe Castro and Jolan all prevailed in their respective battles. Jolan is most certainly one to watch after being cut into 6/1 from 8/1. Chloe is another mover as she is now priced at 12/1 from 14/1. George stole Alaric Green after he lost out to Chloe and can be backed at 25/1 to win.

Cody Frost is giving ex-Liberty X singer Kevin Simm a run for his money as she is now head to head with him in the betting at 7/2 after a fantastic battle performance.

Kevin does have a slightly tighter grip on the punters support at present, but it is shaping up to be an exciting two horse race.
