Could Longford Lass Maura Be A Love Island Winner?

Ireland could be celebrating a Love Island winner after Maura Higgins saw her odds of being the top female on the island cut following her latest romantic developments in the villa.

The girls have been getting to grips with six new male islanders in Casa Amor and things were looking up for the Longford beauty when she shared a kiss with new boy Dennen in the neighbouring villa after her previous partnership with Tom ended as he departed the island.

As Maura was charmed by the professional footballer, her chances of winning took a boost in the betting as she went from 12/1 right into 7/1 third favourite with BoyleSports to be the female taking share of the £50,000 prize.

That means only Molly-Mae Hague and Amber Gill are now ahead of Maura in the betting.

Molly-Mae continues to be the girl to beat at Even money although it remains to be seen whether her odds will start going in the wrong direction as she continues her stint in in the new villa away from her partner Tommy Fury.

One task saw her snogging two of the newbies in the pool, but Tommy insists he is happy with her and he remains the Even money favourite to be the top male when the prize is handed out.
