Netherlands Shorten Further For Eurovision Title

The Netherlands have shortened even further from 13/8 into 11/10 in the Eurovision outright for Duncan Laurence to win with his entry ‘Arcade’.

The 25-year old reached The Voice Of Holland semi-finals back in 2014…

and is hoping to land the Netherlands their first song contest win since 1975.

Ireland are looking to hold on to their all-time high record of seven wins in the Eurovision, but their odds have drifted from 66/1 out to 200/1 with Co Clare singer-songwriter Sarah McTernan representing The Emerald Isle.

Sweden are 11/2 shots to match Ireland’s Eurovision song contest record of 7 victories with John Lundvik’s ‘Too Late For Love’ entry.

Russia have not won the Eurovision since 2008 with their odds drifting out to 8/1 from 6/1, meaning they are now joint third favourites with Australia who were backed into 8/1 from 16/1 after their semi-final performance on Tuesday.

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will be the 64th edition of the famous singing contest and it takes place in Tel Aviv following Israel’s victory last year, with 26 countries set to take part in Saturday’s final.
