Nicky Byrne Cut To Qualify Ireland For Eurovision Final
Ireland’s Eurovision entrant Nicky Byrne has been given a boost with today’s news that Ireland has received a favourable draw in the song contest’s semi-final.
A slot in the first half of the second semi-final, which will take place in Stockholm on Thursday May 12th, has seen Nicky Byrne installed at 1/3 to reach the final whilst it’s 2/1 that he will fail to progress to the Saturday night final on May 14th.
Ireland are 16/1 to win the Eurovision this year whilst it’s 4/6 that they will win the competition again before 2030 with 11/10 the price that it will be after 2030.
Nicky Byrne will be hoping to turn around Ireland’s dismal record in the Eurovision song contest for the past few years
…and we believe that the former Westlife singer will end the drought we have had for the past two years and progress to the Eurovision final, as suggested by the red hot 1/3 odds.
Ireland have been drawn in against Australia in the second semi-final and with the amount of Irish people Down Under, it’s sure to boost Nicky’s vote. Ireland are already seeing plenty of patriotic support to go all the way at 16/1 and are already posing as a five figure payout for the firm if Nicky Byrne can manage to shine his sunlight in Stockholm and win an eighth Eurovision crown for the Emerald Isle.
