Rebel Rose Favourite To Wear Tralee Crown

In just under a week 65 Roses will compete for the Rose of Tralee crown.

The competition is fierce with the Roses set to be whittled down to just 32, but who has what it takes to wear the coveted crown?

We have had our say and make Cork Rose Denise Collins, a Maths graduate from the University of Limerick, the early 8/1 favourite.

Another key contender for the crown is Kilkenny representative Sarah Kerans, who is 12/1 to take current Rose of Tralee Elysha Brennan’s title.

Competition
Seven ladies are at loggerheads consisting of Carlow Rose Emma O Byrne, Dublin Rose Lorna White, Galway Rose Rosie Burke, Mayo Rose Fionna McDarby, Melbourne Rose Meghan Griffin, Tyrone Rose Genevieve Scullion, and Kildare Rose Meabhdh O’Sullivan who all feature at 14/1.

The hope for a Kerry native to keep the crown firmly in Tralee lies in the hands of Danielle O’Sullivan, a 23-year-old Human Rights Law and Criminal Justice student, who is priced at 18/1.

This year’s Meath Rose Treasa Sheridan, a Health and Physical Activity graduate, is 33/1 to make it back-to-back wins for the Royal County.
