Rubberbandits Eurovision 2018 Odds Slashed

The Rubberbandits’ odds to represent Ireland in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest have been slashed in half after BoyleSports were inundated with bets on Monday.

The Limerick duo are now priced at 8/1 to head to Portugal for the song contest next year, having been initially priced at 16/1.

In true Rubberbandits fashion, the duo told BoyleSports on Saturday night that they would only save Ireland from its Eurovision despair “When we have a 32 county Republic”.

They later tweeted, “We’ll do Eurovision, if the Irish public collaborate with us. To make the worst, tackiest song ever. So everyone is to blame”, suggesting that the Eurovision seed has been planted for the plastic bag wearing duo and your Dad’s Best Friend to hit Lisbon for the long weekend in 2018!
