Stacey Dooley Odds-On To Take Home Glitterball Trophy
Strictly Come Dancing has reached its semi-final stages but the betting suggests that its already over as Stacey Dooley moves into odds-on favouritism.
The BBC journalist was Even money before her quarter-final performance which saw her take on a Foxtrot American Smooth to ‘I Dreamed A Dream’.
The bets quickly began to roll in for Stacey to win seeing her odds crash into her current 7/10 after she left the judges and audience in tears.
Joe Sugg remains Stacey’s main threat in the competition but has suffered a drift out to 5/2 from 7/4 after scoring just 36 for his Salsa seeing him lie second from the bottom in the leaderboard.
Faye Tozer’s Charleston saw her top the leaderboard with a perfect score of 40, however despite her success on the dancefloor she is a 7/1 shot to take home the Glitterball trophy. Lauren Steadman is next at 11/1 after shortening in from 16/1.
Ashley Roberts escaped the dance off for a second week running when Charles Venn was sent packing, but her stints in the bottom two have ruined her chances of winning as she drifts out to a firm 20/1 outsider to win from 10/1.
