Three Billboards Set For Big Night At BAFTAS

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri looks set to sweep up at the BAFTAS this weekend after BoyleSports made it favourite in several categories following the rush to get bets on before the ceremony.

The hit movie set in the American midwest, which qualifies for a BAFTA via director Martin McDonagh, was backed into 4/6 from Even money to pick up the Best Film award at Sunday night’s bash in London.

2/5 favourite Frances McDormand is also expected to scoop the gong for Best Actress despite competition from Saoirse Ronan, who has also been a popular bet in the run up to the awards for the her performance in Lady Bird.

One of the most competitive heats has been the Best Director category, with punters split between Dunkirk’s Christopher Nolan and Guillermo Del Toro (The Shape Of Water). Both look set to go into the ceremony as 10/11 joint favourites in what has proved to be a tight two horse race since nominations were announced.

Award season is in full flow now and with only two weeks to the Oscars, all eyes will be on the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday night in the search for clues.”

Three Billboards looks set to dominate and although Frances McDormand is frontrunner for best actress, we’ve been seeing a rush for Saoirse Ronan after she won the Irish equivalent and…

we’ve had to trim her odds into 7/2 from 4/1 as she stands to be a big loser for us on the night.
