O’Brien Chasing Oaks-Derby Double

The final field of 19 have been confirmed for the Epsom Derby on Saturday and Aidan O’Brien’s Cliffs of Moher is neck-and-neck with John Gosden’s Cracksman for joint favouritism at 4/1.

Cliffs of Moher is just one of six entries for O’Brien with Capri (10/1), Venice Beach (12/1), Douglas Macarthur (20/1), Wings Of Eagles (25/1) and The Anvil (40/1) making up his representatives.

With a dominating presence in the Derby betting, O’Brien is 5/4 to win the Blue Riband event for a sixth time.

Aidan O’Brien is currently priced at 5/2 to complete the Epsom Derby-Oaks double for a third time this weekend. The Ballydoyle handler is red-hot at 4/7 to land the Oaks as Rhododendron leads his challengers at 4/5.
