Micheál Martin Shortens For Taoiseach

We can report further support for Fianna Fáil’s Micheál Martin to become the next Taoiseach.

Having been available at 11/2 over the weekend, continuous support has seen his odds slashed into 7/4.

Martin was as big as 12/1 early last week and is now a large loser for the firm. Fine Gael’s Enda Kenny remains favourite at 4/9 having drifted from 1/10. It’s currently 7/4 that a revolving Taoiseach will be announced after this election.

There has also been further support for another General Election in 2016 with the odds of us going to the polling stations before the end of the year now 11/10 from 7/4. We initially installed another general election to take place in 2016 at 11/2 but judging by the demand for this to happen, the current price of 11/10 will not be around for long.

It’s 4/6 that we won’t have to cast our votes again before the end of the year.
