Price Cut On DeChambeau And Koepka For Shock Ryder Cup Pairing

A surprise pairing involving Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka is among the outside bets being placed ahead of tee off in the Ryder Cup this Friday.

The American duo have been involved in a lengthy public spat and Team USA Captain Steve Stricker has said they are unlikely to be paired together, but admitted this week that ‘things could change’ and described the rift as a ‘non-issue.’

The coach of DeChambeau has also claimed the world number 7 is keen to settle his differences with Koepka and while it remains an outside shot they link up in the same group this week,

we have clipped the odds on Stricker springing a surprise into 6/1 from 10/1.

Koepka, who was an injury doubt for the event, hit the headlines last week when describing team golf as ‘a bit odd’ and is a 7/1 shot to finish the week without registering even half a point for the Americans.

The hosts are set to tee off as 8/15 favourites to wrestle the trophy back from the Europeans who are seeking a fifth win in six events going back to 2010.

The Americans are 7/2 to get the better of all three days with Padraig Harrington’s men rated 20/1 shots for the same feat, while Ryder Cup specialist Ian Poulter has been backed down to 25/1 from 33/1 to hole the winning putt for the holders.
