Punter Waiting On Kerry To Land €220,500 Double

Sunday sees the much anticipated All-Ireland SFC Final between Dublin and Kerry take place with one GAA punter waiting on Kerry in the last leg of their €70,000 GAA Double after Kilkenny lifted the Liam McCarthy trophy two weeks ago.

The betting suggests a tight match is expected with Dublin holding favourites status to win in 70 minutes at 10/11. Kerry are 6/5 to retain the trophy in 70 minutes with a draw priced at 15/2.

The Handicap is also very close with one point separating the teams. Dublin to cover the -1 point spread is priced at 11/10 with Kerry +1 on offer at 10/11.

The First Goalscorer market always proves popular with Dublin’s Bernard Brogan currently heading the betting at 5/1. Hot on his heels are Kerry’s Paul Geaney and James O’Donoghue at 6/1 with Colm “Gooch” Cooper next in the betting at 7/1. The game to see no goals can currently be backed at 9/1.

BoyleSports’ HT/FT market sees Dublin/Dublin priced at 2/1 with Kerry priced at 11/4 to be leading at half time and win the match. Both halves to end in a draw can be backed at 50/1.

Kerry remain the worst result in the Antepost book with one punter relying on the Kingdom to net them a profit of €150,500.

The customer’s €70,000 double included Kilkenny at 1/2 and Kerry at 11/10 to win their respective All-Ireland championships outright.
