Punters Backing England For Six Nations

The Six Nations kicks off on February 6th and it’s currently England that are heading the outright betting at 7/4 to win back the crown.

Reigning champions, Ireland, are next in the betting at 5/2 to win the Six Nations for a third consecutive year with Wales, who last won the tournament in 2013, next in the betting at 3/1.

Joe Schmidt’s Ireland will be hoping to get back to winning ways after the World Cup but at present they aren’t seeing any patriotic support just yet.

England are currently the worst result in the book for the firm.

France can be backed at 5/1 with Scotland on offer at 16/1 while Italy are outsiders to cause a shock at 750/1.

There has been no Grand Slam winner since Wales won it in 2012 and the odds of 4/7 suggest that we are unlikely to have a winner this year. England are priced at 4/1 to repeat their 2003 Grand Slam success whilst Ireland, who last achieved it back in 2009, can be backed at 8/1 alongside France.

The Triple crown is always a coveted title amongst Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales and with no winner in 2015, all four teams will be hungry for the crown. No winner currently heads the betting at 13/8 with England next in line at 2/1 whilst Ireland are next in the market at 3/1.
