Punters Rally Behind Roy Keane For Celtic Job

There has been a rush on Roy Keane to take over from Ronny Deila as Celtic boss as whispers emerge that he was reportedly contacted with an offer.

Punters took no chances and backed the Republic of Ireland assistant manager in from 8/1 to 4/1 overnight.

Despite the move on Keane, it is Brendan Rodgers who is now the frontrunner for the job at Parkhead after being cut into 5/4 from 2/1 as a result of a burst in support.

A consistent figure in the market is former Celtic manager Neil Lennon, who remains the second favourite to return, but has been eased out to 10/3 from 5/2.

Previous 5/4 favourite for the job, David Moyes has suffered a large drift that sees the former Man United boss now available at 8/1.
