Rebel Conquers 43,604/1 Racing Odds To Land Windfall

There were scenes of celebration in Cork this weekend when a punter’s flutter on the Saturday horse racing action ended up with them walking off with a five-figure sum.

The anonymous customer placed their bet in a BoyleSports shop in the county on Saturday afternoon, picking three horses at Newbury and one from Newmarket and throwing them into a €0.20 Lucky 15.

Ananya (8/1) started the incredible run in the 2.05 at Newmarket, while Withhold (17/2) and Waldpfad (33/1) quickly followed up at Newbury. That left 14/1 shot Bettys Hope with the responsibility in the 3.40 at Newbury but by a short head the windfall was landed.

It was a 43,604/1 shot on all four winning and the series of €0.20 bets returned a stunning total of €11,869.57 from a total stake of just €6.

It only cost our Cork customer €6 but…
