Schmidt Success In 2017?

Irish rugby fans got the news they wanted on Monday evening when current manager Joe Schmidt extended his contract until the end of the 2019 World Cup.

We’ve priced Ireland up at 50/1 to win the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Six Nations Championships with 11/10 on offer that they will fail to win the tournament between now and 2019.

Ireland are 5/4 to be crowned Six Nations champions once between now and 2019, with 5/1 the price on offer that they will win two titles.

Schmidt’s side will be bidding to win back the Six Nations crown in 2017 and it’s 5/1 that they do so.

Ireland can be backed at 14/1 to win the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan under the guidance of Schmidt. They play New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium in November where they are 10/1 to finally beat the world champions.
