Samcro Shortens For Stayers’ Hurdle As Elliott Raises Hopes

Samcro has been backed to return to winning ways at Cheltenham after trainer Gordon Elliott confirmed he wasn’t out for the season as first thought.

raised the prospects of a return by revealing he wouldn’t rule out a run at the Cheltenham Festival next month.

We have now trimmed the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle winner from last year into 6/1 from 8/1 for the Stayers’ Hurdle this time round and are also offering non-runner no bet on the race, alongside four other championship races at the Festival.

Minella Rocco and Give Me A Copper also caught the eye of punters on Tuesday after the weights were revealed for the Grand National, with both horses closing into 33/1 from 50/1 at the start of the day.
