Seeley’s Selections – England v Lithuania

England v Lithuania

Match Betting

England are in action on Friday night in their Euro 2016 qualification match with Lithuania and not many people are that bothered really.

The punting action isn’t that great with the Three Lions installed as BoyleSports’ unbackable 1/9 favourites and we all know they are going to win and unless you’ve got bundles to spare, it’s all about how many they are going to win by.

Anyway, lets not get too downbeat, as all eyes will be on one man and one man only on Friday night and no it’s not Lithuanian defender Georgas Freidgeimas, it is of course the hottest property to come out of Tottenham since Chas ‘n’ Dave, Harry Kane, or Rodney Trotter as I like to call him. Kane looks set to cap an incredible season by making his debut in Woy Hodgson’s starting XI partnering Wayne Rooney in the England attack and BoyleSports punters are falling over themselves, Ashley Young-esque, to get stuck into the Hurri-Kane to mark his debut with a goal.

The Tottenham striker has already scored 29 goals in all competitions this season and he’s 7/10 with BoyleSports to mark his international debut with a goal; 3/1 to open the scoring and 13/1 to emulate Luther Blissett and score a hat-trick on his England debut.

I know you all love him, but international football, even against Lithuania is a big step up from playing against Leicester last week; yes he is a great talent and he’s being billed as the future of English football, but I will just mention two names; David Nugent and Francis Jeffers…enough said. If Kane is the future, than Wayne Rooney is certainly the present and the England captain is still the main man in this set-up for me.

Rooney has scored in his last three England matches at Wembley and at 4/7 with BoyleSports to score against this leaky Lithuanian side, that looks a great bet.

Wazza has delivered a knock-out blow to BoyleSports in recent England internationals with seven goals in his last eight starts and at 5/2 to open the scoring, that has to be taken.

It’s wrong to see him the around the same price as Kane in any of the BoyleSports’ goalscoring markets with one making his international debut and the other with 46 goals under his belt in 101 appearance for his country.

England will win and instead of taking the short odds on them winning then odds-on punters should be getting stuck into the massive 40/85 on them to win to nil. Woy’s Boys have conceded just one goal in qualification and they aren’t going to concede on Friday night.

Lithuania have beaten group minnows San Marino and Estonia but have lost to nil in the last two qualifiers against Slovenia and Switzerland. BoyleSports have an England 2-0 win as the favourite in their correct-score market at 4/1, but I’m expecting this to be a lot easier than that and a 4-0 victory at 13/2 is where I would be placing my wager with BoyleSports.

Remember, BoyleSports are giving MONEY BACK on selected market if Harry Kane scores the last goal of the game!

B Lucky!
