Seeley’s Selections – FA Cup Final

It’s FA Cup final weekend and we mightn’t have Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks taking to the ring or ex-players playing table football (anybody under 30 won’t get that), but this competition hasn’t lost any of its glamour with the betting public and the boys and girls at BoyleSports are bracing themselves for a very busy afternoon.

Arsenal are looking to make FA Cup history by winning the Cup for a record-breaking 12 times, but Aston Villa will be a very tough Wembley challenge.

The Gunners are just 1/4 with BoyleSports to make the record books and lift the trophy, but that is far too short for me or anybody to really get financially involved.

The north Londoners are 11/20 to win the big one in 90 minutes and that will be a popular choice especially after they did the double over Villa this season with two very convincing 3-0 and 5-0 wins.

Villa though, well, they will make this a much tougher challenge than that and most neutrals will look at the 11/2 about the underdogs and think that is far too good to miss.

Under the guidance of Tim Sherwood the Premier League strugglers have been a totally different team. Sherwood has really got them playing and with 33 goals in their last nine games, you just can’t see anything but goals and if they play like they did against Liverpool in the semi-final they have a great chance.

The best bet on the entire game is the 10/11 with BoyleSports on both teams to score as I really think this could go down as a Wembley classic.

Nobody expected, including me, last year’s final with Hull and Arsenal to be an entertaining affair, but it was and I can see a similar one again.

In the last ten FA Cup Finals no team have won by more than a one goal margin and I fully expect another close one on Saturday. I’m taking the Gunners to edge another thriller with a 3-2 scoreline at a massive 22/1 with BoyleSports and I also like Arsenal to win and both teams scoring in the 90 minutes which is a great bet at 11/5.

When it comes to looking for a first goalscorer my advice to you would be to give up even trying. Both Wenger and Sherwood have some massive decisions to make in their starting XI and that really is a problem for betting on that market.

Instead of trying to solve that puzzle, I’m going to get stuck into the man of the match award for the Wembley showcase and have a few quid on Arsenal’s star-man Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean international never has a bad game for the Gunners and at a tasty 11/2 with BoyleSports on him to be named man of the match that’s another bet I really like .

Seeley’s Selections:
Both Teams To Score – Yes @ 10/11
Correct Score – Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa @ 22/1
Both Teams To Score & Arsenal To Win @ 11/5
Offical FA Man of the Match – Alexis Sanchez @ 11/2

B Lucky.
