Seeley’s Selections – Poland v Scotland

Poland v Scotland

Match Betting

Finally after five days of waiting we have some competitive international football on Tuesday evening.

Although, the rubbish which has been served up over the last few days hasn’t stopped Boylesports clients from getting the lot with an England 1-0 , Scotland 1-0 and Northern Ireland 2-0 victories all tipped up in this column.

The biggest game of this week was always going to be the Group D clash in Warsaw between Poland and Scotland and after the Poles 2-0 slaying of World Champions Germany on Saturday night this game takes on some extra spice.

Poland have been slashed in the betting to 5/6 with Boylesports after the Germany win and I want to take them on at odds-on quotes.

So many times in sport we see a team/player have a massive win against a higher ranked team or player and the following week they fail to produce as there is only one way to come go from such a big emotional high…..DOWN.

That’s the case in this one, the fact they they have beaten the German’s for the FIRST time in their history in a fixture which has such history means that this is a great time to face them in my book.

The Scots produced a professional performance in their 1-0 win at home to Georgia and are available at 7/2 to win this one.

Gordon Strachan’s side have now lost just once in their last eight and even though they won a friendly early this year 1-0 in Poland 17/2 to happen again with Boylesports, I can’t bring myself to bet them.

I do however, think they will get something from the game and I really like the draw at 12/5.

The Scottish defence looks a rock solid unit at the moment keeping five clean sheets in their last seven matches and the match to see less than three goals is banker material at 11/20.

If they can keep Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski quiet they have a great chance of frustrating the Poles, the Bayern Munich hitman is 3/1 to open the scoring and just 21/20 to score at anytime.

REMEMBER if you back a first goalscorer and he scores the second goal Boylesports will refund all losing first goalscorer bets on that player.

I can’t see anybody scoring and at 6/1 I’m taking no goalscorer with Boylesports in what is sure to be a very tight encounter.

Seeley’s Selections:
Draw @ 12/5
No Goalscorer @ 6/1
