Seeley’s Selections – Scotland, Rep of Ireland & N.Ireland

Scotland v Georgia

Match Betting

Three live European qualifiers this Saturday for Boylesports punters to get well stuck into, but really the only that offers anything of a match is the Group D clash from Hampden Park between Scotland and Georgia.

Scotland v Georgia, 5pm, Sky Sports 5

Gordon Strachan has turned this Scotland teams fortunes around since his appointment last year with just one loss in their last seven matches and that was against World champions Germany , there is a lot to like about Strachan’s men here at 4/6 with Boylesports and I’m getting involved.

A win here will take the Scots a massive step towards Euro 2016 qualification and I can’t have the Georgians on my mind even at odds of 9/2.

One thing I don’t think we will see is many goals though.

Five of Scotland’s last eight matches have produced less than three goals and at 8/13 with Boylesports thats got to be taken also.

Georgia’s lost their group opener 2-1 at home to Ireland and that was the first time that three or more goals had been scored in one of their matches since June 2013.

I also like both teams “not to score” which is 4/6 with Boylesports, seven of the last eight Georgian matches have seen one of the teams failing to score, that’s got to be a bet in what promises to be a dull encounter.

I like the Scots to come through with a professional 1-0 win, which is a bit more attractive in the Boylesports betting lists at 9/2.

For a first goalscorer in-form Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher should lead be back to lead the line for his country full of confidence after returning from injury with a brace for his club against Stoke at the weekend.

Remember Boylesports will give you your CASHBACK if your losing first goalscorer scores the second goal in all this weekend’s internationals featuring England, Rep. of Ireland, N. Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Seeleys Selection: Scotland @ 4/6

Republic of Ireland v Gibraltar, 5pm, Sky Sports 3

In the other Group D match Ireland take on Gibraltar as unbackable 1/100.

As in the England game on Thursday night the Irish are going to win, it’s just a question of how many they are going to win by?

The Irish have lost just one of their last five competitive matches and that fine run will continue here, but I think it might take a bit of time to break the Gibraltar defence down.

Gibraltar were hammered 7-0 by Poland in their first competitive match in their group opener, but the Poles were only 1-0 up at half-time.

I like the first goal in Dublin to be scored after the 16th minute at 4/5 with Boylesports. Once the first goal does go in then it could be anything, the Poles ran in six second half goals last month and I can see a similar scoreline here.

I like the Irish to win this 6-0 which is 6/1 with Boylesports and my idea of a goalscorer would be Everton’s in-form midfielder Aiden McGeady at 9/2. In a match which goals are guaranteed Boylesports offer of CASH BACK if your losing first goalscorer scores the second goal is generous to say the least.

Seeley’s Selection: First Goal after the 16th minute @ 4/5

Northern Ireland v Faroe Islands, 7.45pm, Sky Sports 5

This Group F match may not appear to be the best offering on the day but it does give me my weekend NAP and it’s Northern Ireland to win to nil at 3/4 with Boylesports.

Michael O’Neil’s side just don’t concede many goals, especially against this class of opposition, they are 1/4 to win the match which is too short to get seriously involved in but the win to nil appeals to almost every punter.

Northern Ireland had a fantastic 2-1 win in Hungary in their group opener and with great team spirit and confidence sky high I’m taking them for a comfortable night with a 2-0 win at 17/4 with Boylesports.
