Seeley’s Selections – Sunday’s Live Football Tips

Chelsea host London rivals Crystal Palace on Sunday knowing that a win will see them crowned champions of England for the fifth time and they really shouldn’t have many problems in this one.

Forget all the “boring” comments, the Blues deserve to win the title this season and I believe they will answer their critics with a proper performance in this one.

Chelsea are going to win the game and the 4/11 with BoyleSports is really only going to tempt the serious players, and there are much better ways to get with Jose Mourinho’s side on Sunday at much more workmanlike prices.

After the recent criticism aimed at his team I really can see “The Special One” letting the shackles off his side and finally letting them entertain and I think this could be a messy afternoon for this Palace side. This is a good time to face Crystal Palace as in their last two matches Alan Pardew’s young team looked to be running on empty.

The Eagles are 10/1 to win this with BoyleSports, but coming into this on the back of two 2-0 home defeats to West Brom and Hull, it’s far from ideal preparation against the champions elect and this could be a very long afternoon.

Pardew has a great record against Chelsea though with the “Silver Fox” winning four of his last six Premier League matches as opposition coach against the Blues, but I can’t see that helping the cause much on Sunday.

Palace have a much better record away from home than at Selhurst Park under Pardew and one thing I do expect them to do on Sunday is score and I like the 5/4 on both teams scoring with BoyleSports.

Chelsea though have lost just one of their last 14 league matches against Palace and with some comfortable victories in that period another one is expected here. I’m taking the home side to win by a 4-1 correct-score which is a very tasty 20/1 with BoyleSports and a scoreline that I will be chucking a couple of quid on.

The goalscorer market is a bit of a minefield as we still don’t know who will feature for Chelsea or in what position. Eden Hazard is certain to start and the 7/2 with BoyleSports on the newly crowned Player of The Year to open the scoring is the safe option. Hopefully the Belgian international can score inside the opening 20 minutes to land BoyleSports “Double Bubble” offer where they will double the odds if your player scores the the first goal inside that opening period.

Seeley’s Selections:
Both Teams To Score – Yes @ 5/4
Correct Score – Chelsea 4-1 Crystal Palace @ 20/1
First Goalscorer – Eden Hazard @ 7/2

Tottenham v Manchester City, Sky Sports 1, 4pm

It’s all about goals in the final match of this Premier League weekend when Man City travel down to London to take on Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

This game is expected to be a classic and unlike others that get built-up I can’t see us being left disappointed. Goals look set to be served up on the Sunday lunch time menu and with a staggering 35 scored in this fixture in the last seven meetings I expect that to continue.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini must wish his side could face Tottenham every week as he’s seen his team score 15 goals in their last three Premier League games against Spurs and at least four on every occasion. My first bet in this one is an obvious one, but it just has to be backed and thats the 40/85 with BoyleSports on both teams to score.

It’s a very short price, but in my opinion it’s not short enough and if you play it as a single or in a multiple this weekend it doesn’t really matter, but just make sure you play it.

Tottenham have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 Premier League games and in six of the last seven matches between this pair both have found the back of the net.

City arrive in the capital as the BoyleSports 11/10 favourites and the stats look good for their backers with the champions (although they won’t be come kick-off time) winning seven of their last eight against Spurs.

City though have lost their last four Premier League away games and if they lose this one it will be the first time since 2006 that they’ve lost five on the bounce. I couldn’t back Tottenham at the 11/4 with BoyleSports though as a win will take them a huge step closer to the dreaded Europa League and nobody want that again at White Hart Lane.

I like the draw here at 11/4 with BoyleSports and I really think it will be a classic and a 3-3 draw is on my shortlist at a monster 28/1 with BoyleSports.

This is going to be built-up as the show-down between Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane to see who will be crowned the Premier League top goalscorer and the City man gets my vote in this one. Aguero is 10/3 to open the scoring which is massive especially when you consider BoyleSports “Double Bubble” offer where they will double the odds if your winning first goalscorer selection scores inside the opening 20 minutes.

Aguero scored all four in City’s 4-1 win earlier in the season at the Etihad and he also scored the opener in this fixture last season to take his goal tally against Tottenham to NINE goals in just six appearances.

Seeley’s Selections:
Both Teams To Score – Yes @ 40/85
Draw @ 11/4
Correct Score – Tottenham 3-3 Manchester City @ 28/1
First Goalscorer – Sergio Aguero @ 10/3
