Seeley’s Selections – Sunday’s Live Premier League

TWO teams that have impressed this season clash at Upton Park on Sunday afternoon with West Ham hosting Swansea in what looks a very tricky game to call for Boylesports punters.

West Ham v Swansea City, Sunday 1:30pm, live on Sky Sports 1
Only two points and two places separate these two in the Premier League table and the the Boylesports football boffins can barely split them , but I can.

Sam Allardyce has done a fantastic job this season guiding his team up into fifth place in the table and the style of play this season for the Upton Park faithfully to witness has made them a bunch of “Happy Hammers”.

The Hammers have only lost once in their last eight matches and at fortress Upton Park they’ve won the last five and I fully expect that winning run to continue in this one.
Allardyce’s men are available at 13/10 with Boylesports and I think thats represents one of the best bets on the Premier League coupon this weekend.

Swansea have over performed this season and some punters might be tempted by the Boylesports 11/5 on the Welsh side in this one but they “NEVER” win the London’s East End.
The last time the Swans won this fixture was way back in 1956 when ironically Doris Day was number one in the charts with “Whatever Will Be Will Be (Que Sera Sera)”.
Since then they have made the visit 11 times and made the long trip back to Wales with just two points.

Garry Monk has also done a brilliant job at a club which was also expected to struggle this season but at the prices I can’t get involved. Monk’s side have only one win away from the Liberty Stadium and that was on the opening day of the season at Old Trafford and since that famous victory they have picked up just two points from a possible 18 on the road.

Team news for this one is going to be crucial with injury doubts concerning West Ham duo Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia if those two are named in the starting XI, this could be a very-one sided affair.

Three of the last four home wins for West Ham have been won to nil and another one in this one wouldn’t surprise me at the 3/1 available with Boylesports.

Since Andy Carroll has returned to the Hammers side five games ago, not a single Hammers’ striker has scored a goal and with doubts about Sakho and Valencia then first goalscorer backers should snap up the 15/2 with Boylesports on Kevin Nolan. The West Ham skipper scored in the midweek win at West Brom and at the 23/10 on him just to score anytime that also looks another decent play.

REMEMBER “Double Bubble” if your first goalscorer selections nets the opener inside the first 20 minutes Boylesports will double the odds on your winning selection.

Seeley’s Selections:
West Ham To Win @ 13/10
West Ham To Win To Nil @ 3/1
Kevin Nolan To Score First @ 15/2

Aston Villa v Leicester City, Sunday 4pm, live on Sky Sports 1
Sky’s Super Sunday offering is Aston Villa v Leicester and I think I’d rather watch Songs of Praise! Don’t worry though I’ve found you a few bets to get you in the Christmas Spirit.

Villa picked up their first win in 10 at Palace in midweek, but it was hardly a thriller and I can’t really see goals in this one either. Paul Lambert’s men are Boylesports 11/8 favourites for this one and I think they’ll win it but I don’t think it will be a goal fest!

Villa games have have seen under 2.5 goals come land in six of the last eight. Leicester matches don’t have a great record for goals either, only two of their last seven have seen the net bulge more than twice. All that considered, under 2.5 goals here is the best bet in this one at 7/10 with Boylesports.

The last time Leicester won a game was in September, against Manchester United! The Foxes are available at 23/10 with Boylesports to end that run, but I can’t be backing that.

The Villains Premier League survival could be heavily reliant on the form of one man, Christian Benteke. The mountain striker scored his first goal since March against Palace in midweek and his return to form could be key. The Belgium has scored 30 league goals since joining Villa, that’s 14 more than any team-mate in the same period.
I fancy Benteke to give Leicester all sorts of problems on Sunday.

The Foxes are without suspended captain Wes Morgan which gives me even more reason to believe there will be another Christian celebrating this December. Back Benteke to score the first goal at 7/2 with Boylesports.

REMEMBER “Double Bubble” if your first goalscorer selection nets the opener inside the first 20 minutes Boylesports will double the odds on your winning selection.

Seeley’s Selections:
Aston Villa To Win @ 11/8
Under 2.5 Goals @ 7/10
Christian Benteke To Score First @ 7/2
