Dublin are All-Ireland Senior Football Champions for the 25th time after beating Kerry 0-12 to 0-09 in Sunday’s final.

After battling through tough conditions against Kerry, Dublin have claimed the Sam Maguire for a 25th time and there has already been some enthusiastic punters backing the Boys In Blue at Evens to retain the title in 2016.

Kerry weren’t in their usual form in the final and the weather conditions proved troublesome for the Kingdom. After losing out on Sam this year they are second in the betting to at 7/2 to make up for their defeat and strip Dublin of the title.

Mayo lost out to Dublin in their semi-final replay and are priced at 9/2 to make amends in 2016 and go all the way. Tyrone, who suffered a semi-final defeat to Kerry, are next in the betting at 12/1 with Cork available at 14/1. Both Galway and Donegal are 20/1 shots.

Elsewhere in the betting, Monaghan are priced at 25/1 with Meath, Down and Armagh all 66/1 and Roscommon and Derry 80/1 for success in 2016.
