The nominees have been revealed for the 2018 British Academy Film Awards and the betting suggests that once again Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri will be the star of the show.

The drama about a mother sending a message to the system that failed to find her daughter’s murderer, took home four Golden Globes recently and is tipped for two BATFAs.

At 4/5, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is the clear favourite to take Best Film with The Shape of Water next at 11/4.

Frances McDormand is also red hot at 1/2 to take home the BAFTA for Leading Actress, seeing off competition from Sally Hawkins from The Shape of Water, and Saoirse Ronan from Lady Bird, who are 3/1 and 7/2 respectively.

Dunkirk’s Christopher Nolan outshines Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’s Martin McDonagh for Best Director at 4/5 while McDonagh is priced at 6/1.

In the Leading Actor category, Gary Oldman who received his first Golden Globe nomination and award at the weekend, is 1/12 to claim the BAFTA for his role as Winston Chruchill in Darkest Hour.
