Three Future Stars Battling For Favouritism in Con & Annie Kirby Memorial

There is now a three-way battle for favouritism with heat winners Droopys Edison, Da Bold Freddie and Deadly Showtime all inseparable at the top of the betting.

Deadly Showtime stole the spotlight for trainer Karol Ramsbottom after clocking a sensational 28.16 on way to victory in heat eight.

Da Bold Freddie remains one of the biggest losers in the book with his odds trimmed into 8/1 from 12/1 after his 28.48 win for trainer Michael Corr. That was just his fourth race so the future is looking bright for him and so many of his rivals in this competition.

One of those rivals is Droopys Edison who is 8/1 from 12/1 after winning heat three in 28.27 showing lovely early pace.

Many caught the eye on Saturday night at the Limerick venue with the Pat Buckley trained Glengar Scholar now 12/1 from 25/1 after his comfortable 28.24 win with Toolmaker Wilde ten and a half lengths back in second place.

Other heat winners that have been cut in the betting include Tommy Too Many who is 25/1 from 33/1, The Other Kobe who is 16/1 from 25/1, Ballinabola Ed who is 10/1 from 14/1 and Droopys Nice One who is 14/1 from 16/1.
