Time To Say Goodbye, Stevi!

Stevi Ritchie was saved from elimination in a shock deadlock decision, that saw Jay James sent packing. This year’s novelty act has stayed longer than anyone, even Stevi himself, expected but his time looks well and truly up this weekend.

As the odds on favourite at 4/6, Stevi looks set to finally make his exit from the show.

Only the Young are next in the betting at 10/3 with their fellow group Stereo Kicks third in line for the chop at 5/1. Lauren Platt has seen some support from punters to bow out of the X Factor this weekend and is now on offer at 8/1 from 10/1.

Andrea Faustini remains the one to beat at 11/8 ahead of Elton John versus Whitney Houston week but there has been a shift for second place in the betting. Ben Haenow and Fleur East were both behind Andrea at 3/1. Ben has since taking over the second favourite title having been shortened into 11/4 following a flood of money. Fleur has subsequently been pushed out slightly to 10/3.

We’re getting down to the grind now and novelties acts have no place in the final weeks of the show. Stevi has had a magnificent run but it looks like it is all set to come to an end on Sunday as he is the 4/6 favourite to go.

Lauren Platt has been losing support recently and it has resulted in her being the shortest ever price for elimination at 8/1. Having been initially installed at 10/1 our traders had to cut her into 8/1 following some shrewd money.
