Treve Eased But Remains Massive Loser For BoyleSports

Despite being eased out to Evens from 4/5, Treve remains a massive loser for BoyleSports ahead of Sunday’s Arc at Longchamp.

Treve will be bidding to win the race for a third consecutive time and is all that punters have wanted in the antepost market over the past few months.

Her nearest rivals are Prix Du Jockey Club winner, New Bay and Epsom Derby winner, Golden Horn at 9/2. It’s then 14/1 that Dermot Weld’s Free Eagle can go two places better than when last seen finishing third in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown to Golden Horn.

Found, who finished second in the same race, is priced at 16/1 with Flintshire next in the betting at 20/1.

Despite easing Treve out to Evens due to drying conditions at Longchamp punters aren’t afraid to continue to latch onto Criquette Head-Maarek’s exceptional mare.

If Treve manages to win the Arc it will be excellent for racing but absolute carnage for BoyleSports and the bookmaking industry as she is the worst result in the antepost book by a mile and a half. Our traders would have a smile on their faces if any other horse could upset the mighty mare on Sunday but it’s going to take a good horse to do so.
