Una Now Mrs Brightside After Bagging Kayleigh

Voice Of Ireland

Outright Betting

After round three of the blind auditions on the Voice of Ireland, it seems no one can top Patrick Donoghue’s first performance.

The Dubliner remains the clear favourite to win at 11/2. Laura Enright and Sarah McTernan are his main competition with both ladies next in the betting at 6/1.

Out of the newcomers to the show, Kayleigh Cullinan was the best of the night and one to watch as she goes into the betting at 8/1 after joining team Una.

Also joining team Una was Pat Fitz from Cork, who opened the show with Jackie Wilson’s ‘Higher and Higher’, although he is the bigger price of 25/1 to win.

Kenneth Usher had Bressie, Kian and Rachel fighting to get him on their team. Bressie prevailed and will no doubt be smug when he hears Kenneth is 12/1 to go all the way. Bressie’s other steal of the night was Aoife Smith, who performed her take on the Killers ‘Mr Brightside’ and is 20/1 to win.

Lanni Smith was the 2fm wildcard and gave a beautiful rendition of Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse’. At 16/1, she is team Rachel’s second best member behind Sarah McTernan. Rachel also bagged another member for her squad in the form of Tara Gannon who is priced at 25/1.

Kian’s two new members may not have the impact he hopes for with Stuart Bond installed at 20/1 and Jo Petit further down the betting at 33/1.
