X Factor Winner Matt Terry UK Christmas No.1 Favourite

Fresh from his X Factor win on Sunday, Matt Terry could be in for yet more success as he is tipped to claim the UK Christmas Number One spot with his winner’s single When Christmas Comes Around.

The X Factor winner to claim the lucrative Number One spot was originally priced at 3/1 but the odds have since been cut drastically after Matt Terry took the crown.

Matt is now 11/8 to have the Christmas Number One in the UK with his track penned by Ed Sheeran.

This would regain Christmas glory for the X Factor after last year’s winner, Louisa Johnson, missed out on the Number One spot to Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir.

Friends of Jo Cox, an amalgamation of musicians who have come together to release a charity single You Can’t Always Get What You Want in memory of the late politician Jo Cox, is second in the betting at 9/4.

Greg Lake is 7/2 to land the Number One spot with I Believe in Father Christmas with The London Hospices Choir and Cruz Beckham both on offer at 6/1 with their respective tracks.
