Yanworth Continues Rise Up Stayers’ Hurdle Market

Yanworth has shortened yet again for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham after solid support and is closing in on market leaders Supasundae and Sam Spinner.

Alan King confirmed last week that the horse will be aimed at the Stayers’ Hurdle despite winning twice over fences this season.

The rush to get on saw his odds cut in half from 12/1 to 6/1, but with support refusing to dry up for the JP McManus-owned 8-year-old, he is now a 5/1 shot…

…behind 9/2 Sam Spinner and 3/1 favourite Supasundae.

A mouth-watering Irish clash is on the cards on the second day of the Festival after Next Destination was the subject of significant support to land the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle.

Samcro has been touted as the Irish banker at Cheltenham for last year’s top trainer Gordon Elliott and is the current 8/11 favourite, but Willie Mullins’ Next Destination has been backed into 7/2 from 5/1.
