Vautour Red Hot For BoyleSports Champion Chase

Eight runners will go to battle for the Grade 1 BoyleSports Champion Chase at Punchestown on Tuesday with the market currently headed by the Willie Mullins trained Vautour at 1/3.

Punters were hesitant to get stuck into Vautour last week, but after he was confirmed for the race on Sunday he is now all the rage to get back to winning ways over the shorter trip of two mile.

Henry De Bromhead won the race twice with Sizing Europe and he will be hoping that 9/2 shot Special Tiara can add another race victory to his training CV. God’s Own got back to winning ways at Aintree for Tom George and is currently 10/1 to land the spoils whilst the second UK runner, Nicky Henderson’s Simonsig, is also priced at 10/1.

Willie Mullins will also be represented by Twinlight (33/1) whilst Flemenstar is on offer at 50/1 with Clarcam (66/1) and Baily Green (100/1), who finished second in the race last year, making up the field.
