Boylesports have been forced to suspend betting on the next animal to be killed off in Love Hate on Saturday after laying a flurry of bets on a bird at 6/1 on Saturday morning in our Dublin north side and city centre shops.

Love Hate has gripped the nation over the past few years and with the anticipated Series 5 returning to our screens on Sunday night, it’s currently 9/4 that the opening episode of Season 5 reaches 1 million viewers.

Even the Nidge Twitter account (@nidgeofficial) has got in on the Love Hate act with Boylesports and we have given him a €100 charity bet at enhanced odds of 7/2 for Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland that Episode 1 of Season 5 reaches the million audience.

With Twitter set to go into meltdown tomorrow night when Love Hate starts, Boylesports is offering 6/4 that the Top 10 trends in Ireland on Twitter on Sunday night and throughout Monday will be all Love Hate related.

Our shops in Dublin city centre and north side had barely opened their doors on Saturday morning when we started to lay bets on a bird to be killed at 6/1 We then clipped it into 2/1 and after further inquiries we had to close the market and now suspect that Nidge’s gang may be behind this.

If a bird is the next animal to be killed off in Love Hate we are going to be wounded badly by the bullets as we stand to lose €10K on it and the number one suspect that we will be blaming if the bet clicks is King Nidge himself.
