Festive Punters Backing A White Christmas
Reports from the UK’s Met Office have suggested that our neighbours might be in for a White Christmas, but what does that mean for Ireland?
While Met Eireann are keeping schtum for the moment, we remain 1/12 that it won’t be a White Christmas on the Emerald Isle.
Optimistic punters can avail of 11/2 that we will wake up to a blanket of snow on Christmas morning.
Edinburgh is currently the 7/2 favourite to have snow on Christmas Day.
Cork natives have the best chance of getting a White Christmas in Ireland as they feature at 4/1, alongside Glasgow, London and Manchester. Belfast are close behind at 5/1 with Dublin on offer at 11/2.
2010 was the last time Ireland woke up to a white Christmas and unfortunately at 1/12, 2016 doesn’t look to be our year to see the white stuff again on the 25th.
