Idris Elba Sparks Fresh Bond Speculation

Idris Elba poured more fuel on the next James Bond speculation fire after posting a picture on social media alongside current Bond Daniel Craig at the Golden Globes with the caption ‘Awks’ after running into him at the award ceremony.

Elba has been adding to rumours he will succeed Craig as 007 for months and has shortened into 3/1 from 6/1 following his latest stunt.

He is just third in the betting to take over the iconic role with Tom Hiddleston the current 7/4 favourite, a drift from his earlier 5/6 odds.

James Norton is also ahead of Elba at 11/4 after an avalanche of fresh support for the Grantchester star forced us to slash his odds drastically from 10/1 to the new second favourite.

Tom Hardy is fourth in line to be the next Bond but the one-time favourite has most recently seen his odds cut into 4/1 from 6/1.
