2024 Rugby Union Calendar – Key Dates For Club & International Rugby
In this post we take a look at the 2024 Rugby Union calendar and bring you all the key dates for in club and international rugby for the year ahead.
2023 was a massive year for the sport of rugby union with the highlight being South Africa winning their second successive Rugby World Cup by beating New Zealand 11-12 in the Rugby World Cup Final.
In the Northern Hemisphere, Ireland were the big winners in the spring as they secured their first-ever Grand Slam on home soil.
Despite there being no Rugby World Cup in 2024 there will be the usual annual competitions along with Rugby Sevens taking place at the 2024 Summer Olympics in July plus a new look Pacific Nations Cup which takes place from August to September.
