2024 Women’s Royal Rumble Odds & Betting Preview

One of WWE’s marquee annual events takes place on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, FL and with that, we preview the likely favourites in the Royal Rumble.

The Road to WrestleMania well and truly gets underway next Saturday, with the 37th edition of the Men’s Royal Rumble and the 7th edition of the Women’s Royal Rumble. In this event 30 of the some of the biggest names in wrestling will try and outlast 29 others for the chance to main event WrestleMania and a shot at a WWE Championship.

For the Royal Rumble, we have already had the likes of Becky Lynch, CM Punk, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair declare for the event.  We’ve also had some big names declare for the WoWomen’sRoyal Rumble with Bayley, Bianca Belair and Limerick native Becky Lynch all declaring!

Women’s Royal Rumble Betting Favourites

Bayley – 4/5

The favourite for the Royal Rumble next Saturday is Bayley at odds 4/5 these odds suggest she has a 55.6% chance of winning the event.

Former Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley has spent the best part of 18 months putting in one of the most selfless displays of work ethic and humility helping put over new talent in the company for her exploits with Damage CTRL. However, it has many suggesting now Bayley deserves her flowers again and an opportunity to headline the company’s Women’s division.

In recent months a split with her teammates in Damage CTRL has been very heavily teased and with teammate “Iyo Sky” Champion, something happening at the Rumble where they go on to fight at WrestleMania makes a lot of sense.

Bayley has recently claimed that 2024 will be her career-defining year and I think it will be. A clash with Iyo Sky seems probable, but something suggests to me Damage CTRL could screw her out of victory on Saturday.

Becky Lynch – 5/2

The second favourite for the Royal Rumble next Saturday is Becky Lynch of 5/2 these odds suggest The Irish Lass Kicker has a 28.6%  chance of winning the event.

Becky Lynch since debuting on the Main Roster in 2015 following a period in NXT, has gone on already to arguably transcend the sport of wrestling, breaking down barriers and putting women’s wrestling well and truly on the map.

This achievement was best shown by her 2019 Royal Rumble victory which catapulted her into a match against Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a Winner Takes All triple threat match for both titles. Lynch would win in what was the first Women’s match to the main event of WrestleMania.

Arguably the biggest women’s match they can book now is Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley, which is primed for a WrestleMania spot. The match looks very likely for WrestleMania and the fastest way to book it is a Lynch Rumble victory.

Jade Cargill – 5/1

The third favourite for the Royal Rumble next Saturday is Jade Cargill of 5/1 these odds suggest he has a 16.7% chance of winning the event.

Jade Cargill looks like a bonafide Main Event star in waiting with the pedigree, the look and that certain “IT” factor which has plenty tipping her for big things with the company. However,  since signing for WWE from rival company AEW last year she has been largely kept off WWE programming while she prepares for her first feud in the company.

Cargill is very likely to be one of the “surprise entrants” in the Rumble and I think she could be in line for most eliminations at the event. However, I think her chances of success in this one are unlikely at the moment.

Bianca Belair  – 6/1

The fourth favourite for the Royal Rumble next Saturday is Bianca Belair of  6/1 these odds suggest she has a 14.3% chance of winning the event.

Bianca Belair is one of the biggest stars in the company and a former winner of the Royal Rumble coming back in the fourth edition of the Women’s Royal Rumble with her success in 2021.

Belair is another with the look, charisma and athleticism that makes her stand out from the rest of the female talent in the company. Probably another contender for the consolation prize of most eliminations.

Liv Morgan – 9/1

The fifth favourite for the Royal Rumble next Saturday is Liv Morgan at  9/1 these odds suggest he has a.10% chance of winning the event.

Morgan has been off television since July due to a shoulder injury that she suffered in the ring and has had her struggles during that time too. However, Morgan remains one of the most popular stars with fans and will get a big reaction if she returns to the event.

Morgan may have a big spot in the Rumble, but there are a few deservingly ahead of her in the betting market right now.

Other Contenders

Unlike the Men’s Royal Rumble, I believe this to be a far more open match and there are a few “surprise” winners that would certainly get people talking. Naomi, the wife of Jimmy Uso, who walked out of the company in 2022  over a creative dispute has been tipped to return to the company and can be gotten at 14/1.

AJ Lee the wife of recent returnee and rumble favourite CM Punk is a former WWE star of her own right and can be gotten at 16/1, we couldn’t get a husband and wife dual winner, could we?

“The Boss” Sasha Banks, (a cousin of Snoop Dog) also walked out with Naomi back in 2022, but is seen as less likely to return so is priced at 16/1 and Alex Bliss returning after having a baby can be currently gotten at 25/1.
