Magician Wows Judges And Punters On BGT
Richard Jones has taken over the Britain’s Got Talent betting after astounding the panel with his magic trick in Tuesday’s semi-final.
Jones is on course to make history as the first ever magician to win the show having shortened into 5/6 from 9/4 after punters rushed to back him following his semi-final performance, which left the audience and judges perplexed.
Also making it through on Tuesday night was Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act Boogie Storm, a group of dancing storm troopers.
The unusual act delighted fans with a Star Wars inspired dance routine and have been cut into 9/1 from 20/1…
…ahead of the finals on Saturday.
Wayne Woodward has become darkest horse in the race for the BGT title after gaining support from punters following his semi-final win on Monday evening. The 16-year-old singer impressed with a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s ‘That’s Life’ and was cut into 5/1 from 6/1, placing him right behind Richard Jones and alongside Beau Dermott in the betting.
100 Voices of Gospel were the first act to win a semi-final on Sunday evening and were quickly made joint favourites with Richard Jones. However as support hardens for the popular magician they have drifted out to 7/1 from 3/1 to win.
