Louth Lotto Player Scores €19,000 Festive Loot

A Lotto punter in County Louth secured the timeliest of big wins at the weekend when a small wager reaped significant rewards thanks to their lucky numbers.

The anonymous customer placed their bet in a BoyleSports shop in the Wee County on Saturday, investing €5 in four numbers for that evening’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.

With the bet facing odds of 3,800/1 for all of the numbers to drop, the bonus ball wasn’t even needed as 1, 15, 21 and 47 all rolled out within in the first six drawn.

The lucky run of numbers meant the punter was able to exchange their €5 betting slip for a startling total of €19,005.

This big win couldn’t have come at a better time for our Louth customer so we send them huge congratulations on their stroke of good fortune.
