The anonymous winner placed a simple €1 bet in a BoyleSports shop in the county and picked four numbers to come out in the main Irish Lotto draw on Wednesday evening.

They were left waiting on numbers 1, 11, 19 and 27 to come out within the main six numbers against odds of 7,500/1. However, the odds soon started to plummet and were smashed completely when all four rolled out.

As a result, the lucky customer was able to return to the shop to swap their €1 betslip for an astonishing total of €7,501.

There was another massive win for a BoyleSports punter in Limerick which also came thanks to a bet on Wednesday night’s Irish lotto.

It took just three numbers for the County Limerick punter to land a four-figure windfall this week when a bold Lotto wager paid off in style.

The anonymous punter placed a €20 bet in a BoyleSports shop on the three numbers to land in Wednesday evening’s Irish Lotto Plus 1 draw at odds of 330/1.

They needed 1, 11 and 41 to be three of the seven numbers to roll out and they didn’t even need to wait on the bonus ball as all three dropped within the main six drawn.

The spectacular run of luck allowed them to return to the shop and hand over their betslip in return for a whopping €6,620.
