Aidan O’Brien’s Filly Has Odds Cut For Epsom Oaks After 1000 Guineas Triumph

The Aidan O’Brien-trained Love landed the brilliant trainer his sixth 1000 Guineas title on Sunday at Newmarket in extremely easy fashion and now the star filly has shortened for the Epsom Oaks.

BoyleSports traders had to react fast when money arrived for the daughter of Galileo last week with her odds for the Epsom Oaks hammered into 7/1 from 12/1.

Love showed some top-class form as a juvenile last year winning three of her seven starts including the Moyglare Stud Stakes but with the 1000 Guineas added to her CV, she has crumbled further into 6/4.

Run Wild for John Gosden has been introduced to the Oaks at 12/1 following her impressive win in the Pretty Polly Stakes at Newmarket.

Charlie Appleby and James Doyle teamed up to take the Spring Trophy Stakes at Haydock with Space Blues and he has seen his odds shorten into 14/1 from 20/1 for the Queen Anne Stakes.

The Prince of Wales has seen some movement also following Lord North landing the Brigadier Gerard Stakes at Haydock for in-form trainer John Gosden with his chances trimmed into 12/1 from 20/1, while the runner up Elarqam is 16/1 from 25/1.

Horse racing has returned with a bang and it was great to see Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien land the big one at Newmarket. The 3-year old is now 6/4 for the Epsom Oaks.
