Alelchi Inois Heads Galway Plate Betting At 8/1

The Willie Mullins trained Alechi Inois has been installed as the 8/1 favourite for the Galway Plate having been last seen winning a prep hurdle race at Cork.

Shanpallas is next in the betting at 10/1 to provide trainer Charles Byrne’s with his first success in the race whilst the Tony Martin trained Ted Veale is on offer at 14/1.

The market then sees numerous horses locked together at 16/1 including 2013 third placed Jacksonslady and the Sandra Hughes trained Art Of Logistics.

Alelchi Inois has had an ideal prep run when winning over hurdles at Cork earlier in the month, though, and deservedly gains early favourtism.

Despite pulling up on his last outing at Punchestown back in June, the Charles Byrnes trained and JP McManus owned, Shanpallas is a horse that our traders are keen to keep on their side at 10/1.
